School Year! I feel very blessed and honored to
be your child's third grade teacher. This is a big transition year
for them and your child will be held to high standards, both
academically and behaviorially. Please use this website as a tool
and resource throughout the year.

Please come to find out the expectations of your child both
academically and behaviorially. Looking forward to seeing you

POWER
STANDARDS
The Auburn School District, through various
committees, has developed POWER Standards for our teachers to use
beginning this school year. The POWER Standards are the
essential content knowledge and skills students should know and be
able to do at each grade level. Rather than having teachers
attempt to teach the many, many standards set by the state,
one-by-one, teachers can now focus on the POWER Standards which
lump all the multitude of standards into easier to manage
bits. All the state standards are still being taught,
just in a much easier to understand way.
Classroom Expectations
1. Be respectful of yourself, property, and others.
2. Be responsible for your actions.
3. Be prepared for class each day.
4. Have fun and enjoy learning.
