Welcome to the 3rd
Grade! We have an excitng year ahead of
us.
Third grade is an important transitional year. Developing
personal responsibility plays a greater role as students
are asked to complete daily homework assignments, keep binders
organized, and take the Washington Assessment of Student Learning
for the first time.
Our primary academic goals will include:
Mastering/developing conceptual and skills based understandings
of multiplication and division
Developing reading fluency and comprehension
Understanding concepts of plant growth and development
Local Native American History
I am looking forward to meeting your child, assessing their
academic progress, and developing a program to help further their
skills.
