Something new is in store on
this site. All assignments are posted under the
“Events” section of this Swift site. If you look
under “Documents” you will find posted most assignments
and packets, unless there is a copyright restriction. For
example, the Unit 6 reading vocabulary packet is there. Under
another document, the weekly handwritten vocabulary words are
posted to be looked at or downloaded.
If your child is
absent, he or she can be
up to date on almost all their work and not fall significantly
behind by looking at the class work and homework listed.
Conference
Week (November 17-21)
Monday and Tuesday have a
normal schedule.
On Wednesday through Friday
there will be an early release at 12:10. A fast lunch will be
provided, although many students bring a snack and wait until they
are home to have their lunch.
Focus on conferences: The
report card is a snapshot only. I will be honest about growth
areas and as well as praises about your child. We’ll
review some data (tests and results of class work), and discuss
where your child is at as we prepare him/her for middle
school.
Your child is
welcome to come to be a part of
their conference although there may be a time when he/she may need
to step outside for a few minutes in the hallway.
