WELCOME
TO
THE
LIBRARY!
I'd like to
introduce myself, I'm Jan Millgard
,and I'll be your child's teacher-librarian while they are here at
Lake View Elementary. The journey to my life as a librarian has been
very enjoyable. I've taught 8 years as a primary teacher, 10 years
as an elementary music educator and this will be my 15th year
as the teacher-librarian here at Lake View.
Once per week I will meet with each
classroom K - 5th for not only selecting books, but
helping your student become an effective user of ideas and
information.

In addition in 2009-2010, I'm
priviledged to have our 1st and 2nd graders an additional 45
minutes per week to begin "Technology Integration"- (integrating
technology into many of our state
standards.)
