Visual Communications &
Yearbook Advisor
The Industrial Arts/Technology, or shop class, for
the 8th Graders is a project based class. Mechanical
drafting/drawings, a safety exam, and shop/lab time for the
construction of projects.
The Visual Communications Class is art/graphics in format with
graphic designs and visual oriented projects.
The 7th Grade students will learn the basics of Mechanical
Drawings, Lego based Robotics, a safety exam and a small wood
project.
The 6th Grade students will do most of their work in small groups
or partners, for the construction of their recycle park project,
and the small wood project. A safety exam will be comleted
before any tools will be used.
Yearbook Club meets before school in room 604 and is open to all
Mt. Baker Students. The student should be interested in the
construction of the annual, as this is our primary purpose. Club
attendance is a portion of the activities in-addition to
fundraising activities. The yearbook club meets from 6:30 to 7:30
Monday thru Thursday regularly and meets on Fridays before
publishing deadlines.
