Welcome to the 2009-2010 school
year!
My name is Lynn Wheeler and I am a
sixth grade science teacher at Mt Baker Middle School. We now
have the new state standards for science. This year the
content areas for sixth grade science are:
Life Science- Ecosystems/Environmental Studies
Physical Science- Forces and Motion
Earth Science- Weather and the Rock Cycle
Interwoven throughtout these units are EALR 1, 2, and 3- Systems,
Inquiry, and Application
Our early focus will be on the most most basic of science skills -
observation.
