Math:
This year, we are
starting a new math program called Algebraic Thinking. There
is a link to the Algebraic Thinking website under the links button,
and we using Book 2.
Science:
We study Earth
Science in 7th grade, and will be learning from four different
books:
1. Inside Earth (September - November-ish)
2. Earth's Waters (December - February-ish)
3. Weather and Climate (March - May-ish)
4. Astronomy (June)
About Mrs.
Hogenson:
This is my tenth
year teaching at Olympic Middle School (where I actually attended
as a junior high student back in '86-'89).
I graduated from Auburn High School in 1992, Western
Washington University in 1997, and got my Master's degree
in Educational Technology from City University in 2003.
I am happily married to Mr. Hogenson (a band teacher in
the Bethel School District) and have two beautiful children:
Jaidyn is 3 and Jack is almost 18 months.
