8th Grade US/Washington State History and Physical
Science
Hi, I'm Mr. Millican and I teach 8th grade
History and Science here at Olympic Middle School. This is my 9th
year teaching at Olympic, and my 4th year teaching at the 8th grade
level. Previously I taught 7th grade Geography. Prior to coming to
Olympic I worked for three years in Engineering for Kenworth
Truck Company in Renton, after graduating from Western Washington
University in 1997. My wife teaches 7th grade LA and Geography here
at Olympic (we met in college) and we have 3 sons. Outside of life
at Olympic I like riding bikes with my kids, camping with family,
and working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. Two of my sons have
even learned to ride dirt bikes so we spend a lot of time
camping and riding when the weather is good! I am looking forward
to a great year at Olympic!
