TIME MARCHES ON . . .
I want everyone to remember this semester that the main determinant
of their grade is EFFORT. If everyone tries their best every
day, they will get an A in the class.
Remember, codes are available in the office to check current grade
postings online. Parents must go there in person and show ID
to pick up the codes. With these you can see scores for all
assignments and assessments in all classes as soon as teachers post
results.

Please give us your Safeway card for our school's PTA e-scrip
fundraiser. Every time you buy from Safeway, a percentage of
your purchase will be donated by Safeway to the school PTA.
It costs you nothing, and it will provide much-needed money to our
school for buying supplies.
EMAIL YOUR NAME AND NUMBER TO ME SO I CAN
ENTER IT FOR OUR PTA!

A note about ZAP (Zeros Aren't Permitted) and SOS (Stuck on
Standards): Students who are falling behind and/or not doing their
work will be asked to stay after school. Please support us in
this policy so we can move all students forward academically!
Parents, please help your children by having them read at least
half an hour every day. Please take time to read with them
and ask questions to help them understand what they have
read. This is the best homework you can have your kids do: it
will help them to read at or above grade level. Please also
have them practice writing for you.
