Parents:
This coming Friday is the last day of the quarter.
Information about Parent Conferences will be coming out this next
month. Ms. McCord and I have and will continue to try to
contact parents of students who are not doing well. If you
have not been contacted, then that's a good sign. We also
have had several parent conferences as well.
Please let us know if there is a better way to help your son or
daughter with any of their Core subjects--math, science, language
arts and social studies. Content Fundamentals is a class
primarily for reading which is so important to the education of
each student. A root word is given to Mr. Dorschel's CF class
each Monday with a followup quiz on Friday (Thursday if there is no
school Friday) to cement their grasp of the root word as it used in
various words. In addition to reading an AR book, students
fill out a Vocab/Sequence on the book they are currently
reading.
