forward to getting to know you and your
child.

communication throughout the year. In any case, if there is

their binder, email me, call me, or set up a time to meet with me
before school.

Donations
Baby-wipes (unscented), box of crackers for
snacks (During WASL), Kleenex Tissues, Hand Sanitizer
(gel),
1pk Index cards.
Absences, tardies, and early
releases
Please make sure that your student attends school
everyday and is on time!
Good
attendance in the early grades is crucial to establishing strong
reading, math, and work skills. If your child is absent, he or
she must have a note from home to be excused. Also, if your
child needs to change from their normal routine in how they go
home, I need a note or a parent phone call. If I don't have
communication from the parent, the student will go home as usual.
Arrival in the classroom after the bell rings at 8:40 will
constitute a tardy, and time missed will be made up during the
student's recess. Students who are tardy cannot be admitted to
the classroom until they get a slip from the office. If you
need to pick up your child early, please make sure that you check
him or her out at the office.
It's going to be an awesome year, and I'm looking forward to it, I
want the students to achieve great success, and with you're help,
we'll meet and exceed all goals to meet our standards. Please
check their binders daily, when you have the
chance. Organization provides a strong foundation for
learning. I'll keep you well informed about homework and
upcoming events.
