Hello! My name is Heidi Erdmann and I am the counselor at
Terminal Park who works with students in grades 3 - 5. I am
at Terminal Park at the end of the week; Wednesday afternoons,
Thursdays and Fridays.
My passion is working with students in small groups. I have
had groups for students who want help controlling their anger and
staying out of trouble, Loss and Grief groups, Friendship groups,
Family Changes groups and groups for students who need ongoing
support.
I have a sand box, puppets, Legos, clay and other art supplies and
fiddle toys in my office to help students feel comfortable. I
find that sometimes children are better able to express themselves
through play.
If students want to talk to me, they can send me a pink note.
Sometimes parents or teachers recommend that I see their
student. I am able to see students individually on a short
term basis and try to provide community resources for those
students who need additional help.
